Colored drawings 4 Sale
A drawing with Crayola pencils

Colored pencils on Strathmore

Size: 14" x 17"

Price:  $50
OK, here we are, in color and loving it.  I've done paintings and water colors and other
colored mediums but none as pleasurable as this.  I felt like a child again.  This was
Crayola mechanical pencils and I have 36 colors to choose from and they are able to be
erased.  So away I went and what came out was a very child like drawing.  This medium
doesn't feel like your drawing with a regular lead pencil, it feels like your drawing with a
crayon and even acts like a crayon.  It's great for filling in area's and shading, but for
detail it's the pits.  I wangled allot of appeal for myself to keep up the creative stance I
needed to complete the picture and am very happy with the results.

I'll definitely be using other colored pencils real soon.  Ones that really feel like lead and
can be sharpened to a precise point for detailing when I want to detail.

I can't wait to get involved with doing drawings of horror images and cartoons of every
sort.  I'm  just scratching the surface of it all.

Words that were included from the paragraphs above, pertain to this now.  I got a
whole new set of 24 thin line pencils, from Prismatic.  Here's my first attempt at
using them.  I really like the results.

Now let me show you the framing I spoke about above.  I've been doing woodworking for over 30 years now, I
grew up around wood and I love it and what it can do for me here with our art.  I can mix woods or stains to
achieve different appearances, some classic, some inventive.  I love old world designs, and any others you can
dream up.  Mixing woods and shapes.  Walnut inlays in oak per say.  That sounds good to me.

If you want to frame it yourself.  Well go for it.  Just please, put it behind glass, sealed as necessary.  Otherwise,
air and time is the great killer of any good art.

Each drawing will be mounted on illustration board to hold its shape.  Each frame will also get two coats of a
satin finish.

You can also have your artwork matted with a 3" all around Matte Board (
Color of your choice) beveled edge
board.  You make the choice, I'll do the work.
And for this beautiful feature just add an addition $10  to the
cost of the framing.
