Comedy and good taste in humor are difficult to satisfy most times.  To be true to the self, one must
be honest and still reach an audience for acceptance and participation.  Oh yeah, audience
participation is a must, if they aint laughing and interacting in a physical way, your not hitting home,
and so goes the humor of the work.  I really like cerebral kind of humor, I like the thoughts that go
behind the characters personality.  Out and out slap stick humor is OK, but hit the mark in the brain,
and
"wow" you've got a memory to bank on.   That's what I shoot for in each piece.  I hope you like
the work I'm doing and I hope you like enough to want to own it for your very self.

If you'd like the picture alone then you can purchase the picture alone.

Or the piece can be framed under glass with a sealed back so no air can get at the image.

I also can frame you're piece.  There are samples below with an explanation of the variety of choice I
have to offer.

Of course, there must be shipping and handling per piece.

Of course down the road there will be additional drawings added.  Who knows maybe tomorrow.  But
for now let's play it like this.  I hope you like what I have to offer and someday soon will have one of my
pieces of art hanging proudly in your house too.

Every piece started at 8 1/2" x 11" and most times there after grew to the final size having to scotch
tape additional pieces of paper to achieve the final of that piece.  Please take that into account when
deciding on a piece.  It doesn't detract from the piece and only approves of the originality and needs for
a final size and content of that piece.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy and decide to purchase some of my art..

the mad monster maker
Now let me show you the framing I spoke about above.  I've been doing woodworking for over 30 years now, I
grew up around wood and I love it and what it can do for me here with our art.  I can mix woods or stains to
achieve different appearances, some classic, some inventive.  I love old world designs, and any others you can
dream up.  Mixing woods and shapes.  Walnut inlays in oak per say.  That sounds good to me.

If you want to frame it yourself.  Well go for it.  Just please, put it behind glass, sealed as necessary.  Otherwise,
air and time is the great killer of any good art.

Each drawing will be mounted on illustration board to hold its shape.  Each frame will also get two coats of a
satin finish.

You can also have your artwork matted with a 3" all around Matte Board (
Color of your choice) beveled edge
board.  You make the choice, I'll do the work.
And for this beautiful feature just add an addition $10  to the
cost of the framing.

An important notation in the world. August 11th, 2009

Dear friends.

The other day I was sent a mailing from my Comic Art club.
It read as such.

Noted comic book writer John Ostrander has quietly been battling glaucoma for the past few years.
In an effort to assist him with mounting medical bills, several of his friends in the industry have planned an auction
to be held this weekend at Chicago Comic Con. Many comic creators have generously donated
original art, signed scripts, prints and other memorabilia. Any excess money raised will be given
to the Hero Initiative. As fans of the visual medium I'm sure we would all be horrified at the thought
of losing our sight, please contribute in whatever way you can.

I can't fathom the loss of my site and I think mainly because of that I am empathising with Mr. Ostrander's situation.
I have decided to offer up 3 pieces of my work to this worthy cause.  And hope that it might be of some help in his plight.

The 3 pieces are from my comic drawings I loved doing so well.

Below are 3 pieces of art donated to this cause.
